The Amore project stands out as a remarkable engineering achievement, characterized by its unique design and complex construction challenges. A key requirement was preserving and protecting part of the existing structure, which included an operational post office that remained open throughout the construction phase.
The project featured an adjacent 8-meter underground excavation next to the existing structure, demanding a steadfast focus on safety during all phases of construction. To ensure the well-being of occupants and workers, temporary shoring and an engineered steel structure were meticulously designed and implemented.
One of the project’s most striking features is the new building spanning over the existing structure, seamlessly integrating the old and new elements. This innovative approach not only ensured structural harmony but also enhanced the charm and investment value of the development. The final result comprises 32 modern residential units while maintaining the post office as a vital community hub for local residents.
